To assist with the understanding and appreciation of the Order of Confirmation the contents of the book are given below together with a number of excerpts.
The first translation of the Rite of Confirmation (1969) has long been out of print and so many will be unfamiliar with the content of the rite.

An important part of the Confirmation liturgy will be the readings from Scripture taken from the Lectionary.
