Weekdays before the Epiphany

Gospel Acclamations before the Epiphany
1 John 1:14. 12 The Word became flesh, and dwely among us.
To all who received him he gave power to become children of God.
2 Heb 1:1–2 At various times in the past and in various different ways,
God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets;
but in our time, the last days,
he has spoken to us through his Son.
3 A hallowed day has dawned upon us.
Come, you nations, worship the Lord,
for today a great light has shone down upon the earth.

Weekdays after the Epiphany

Gospel Acclamations after the Epiphany

on those who dwell in the land and shadow of death a light has dawned.
2 cf. Matt 4:23 Jesus proclaimed the Good News of the kingdom
and cured all kind of diseases among the people.
3 Luke 4:18 The Lord has sent me to bring good news to the poor,
to proclaim liberty to captives.
4 Luke 7:16 A great prophet has appeared among us;
God has visited his people.
