Weekdays before Ascension

Gospel Acclamations before the Ascension
1 Mt 4:4 Man does not live on bread alone,

2 Lk 24:46.26 It was ordained that the Christ should suffer and rise from the dead,
and so enter into his glory.

so that everyone who believes in him
may have eternal life.
4 Jn 3:16 God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son;
everyone who believes in him has eternal life.
5 Jn 6:35 I am the bread of life, says the Lord.
He who comes to me will never be hungry;
he who believes in me will never thirst.
6 John 6:40 It is my Father's will, says the Lord,
that whoever believes in the Son shall have eternal life,
and that I shall raise him up on the last day.
7 Jn 6:51 I am the living bread which has come down from heaven, says the Lord.
Anyone who eats this bread will live for ever.
8 Jn 6:56 He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood
lives in me and I live in him, says the Lord.
9 Jn 6:63:68 Your words are spirit, Lord, and they are life:
you have the message of eternal life.
10 Jn 8:12 I am the light of the world, says the Lord,
anyone who follows me will have the light of life.
11 Jn 8:31. 32 If you make my word your home you will indeed be my disciples,
and you will learn the truth, says the Lord.
12 Jn 10:14 I am the good shepherd, says the Lord,
I know my sheep and my own know me.
13 Jn 10:27 The sheep that belong to me listen to my voice, says the Lord;
I know them and they follow me.
14 Jn 14:6 I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, says the Lord;
no one can come to the Father except through me.
15 Jn 15:4–5 Make your home in me, as I make mine in you, says the Lord;
whoever remains in me bears fruit in plenty.
16 Jn 15:15 I call you friends, says the Lord,
because I have made known to you everything I have learnt from my Father.
17 Jn 20:29 You believe, because you can see me.
Happy are those who have not seen and yet believe.
or Jn 20:29 You believe, Thomas, because you can see me.
Happy are those who have not seen and yet believe.
18 Rom 6:9 Christ, having been raised from the dead, will never die again.
Death has no power over him any more.
19 Col 3:1 Since you have been brought back to true life with Christ,
you must look for the things that are in heaven where Christ is, sitting at God's right hand.
20 Apoc 1:5 You, O Christ, are the faithful witness,
the First-born from the dead;
you have loved us and have washed away our sins with your blood.
21 We know that Christ, is truly risen from the dead;
have mercy on us, triumphant King.
22 The Lord, who hung for us upon the tree,
has risen from the tomb.
23 Christ has risen and shone upon us
whom he redeemed with his blood.
24 Christ has risen: he who created all things,
and has granted his mercy to men.
